How long is the typical wait for an assessment?

Wait times vary widely by location and specialist. Private providers often have shorter waits; publicly funded services can take months. EarlyBloom lists intake status to help you find providers who are currently accepting clients.

Will my child need an NDIS plan?

Not all children need the NDIS to access support. Many services are available via Medicare (e.g. Chronic Disease Management plans) or privately. A GP can advise on the most appropriate pathway for your situation.
