CLEAR Education is a tutoring centre located in Maroubra, Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, founded and driven by Karene Buchanan (Lucas), an English teacher with over 20 years of experience. The centre offers one-on-one tutoring focused on HSC preparation, with a methodology centred on Confidence, Literacy, Effort, Ability, and Results (CLEAR). All tutors are handpicked ex-students who have excelled using the CLEAR method. The centre supports students through organisation, lesson plans, and a collaborative atmosphere, aiming to enhance critical thinking and essay writing skills. The team has received multiple awards including the 2024 Randwick City Business Excellence Award for Most Outstanding Education Service and was a finalist for Australian Women's and Australian small business awards.
